Some nice areas east of here.
Tyler? Commerce? Longview? All pretty nice areas, though I confess to liking the rural stuff better than this (sub)urban crapulence.

gdaustin is the East Texas authority.
having worked and lived out that way.

Keep going East
I'll try to connect with Glen later on, the call is about to start.
Thanks for the offer to help.

Too much further east and you're in Cajun country. :-)
Good luck.

I replied to your email....
Call me on my cell phone. Sorry, I haven't been on IWETHEY much lately, work has been very busy.
I've become popular at work, and am now consulting on about 4 company initiatives. I still have my two projects, plus help with 2 more.
And the brand new hot water heater we put in last week decided to break today. So, I've got to run to Lowe's for replacement (warranty) parts this afternoon before my 5pm conf call.
So, I need to get running.

Tried calling
at 5:10 PM Central time - got the message "number you called is not in service", so I responded to your email with my specific request. Won't call again to save you your minutes since it's not a time critical request anymore. If you can email a response tonight or tomorrow, that will be fine.

Replied to 2nd email
I got my number mixed up on the first email because I was typing a note and reading the number for a phone conference I needed to be in at the same time (don't try it at home).
I sent a 2nd email with correct number. The town you refer to is a nice, but quiet 30,000 person town in East Texas. The good news is that you're 30 miles from a mall and modern shopping in Longview, and 30 miles or so from Shreveport, a booming Metropolis in North Lousiana.
I'll try to find out more. Email me the company info, and I'll try to find out more.

Got 'em both
Appreciate the info about the area. Company's website leaves a lot to be desired - no financial news, for example. But I now know that it's privately held, and the owners are grroming Junior to take over soon enough.
