Welcome to IWETHEY!

New November 1, 2004: A day that will live in infamy! (edited)
The day that SCOG gets back at [link|http://www.groklaw.net/|Groklaw]. Run by the FUDster Pamela Jones.

How can this be?

Supposedly [link|http://www.prosco.net|SCOG's ProSCO.net] springs into life today. UNWRONGING the ferocious GROKLAW FUD. Showing you just HOW BAD Groklaw really *IS*!

I have been waiting for this event to *FINALLY* occur.

/me *IS* sitting on the edge of his chair in suspense.

Here is what the new site called [link|http://scoinfo.com|scoinfo.com] looks like on Nov. 1, 2004 at 15:58 EST (GMT -0500):

No matter how much Microsoft supporters whine about how Linux and other operating systems have just as many bugs as their operating systems do, the bottom line is that the serious, gut-wrenching problems happen on Windows, not on Linux, not on Mac OS. -- [link|http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1622086,00.asp|source]

New I'll be interested to see
what server / OS it runs on.

Imric's Tips for Living
  • Paranoia Is a Survival Trait
  • Pessimists are never disappointed - but sometimes, if they are very lucky, they can be pleasantly surprised...
  • Even though everyone is out to get you, it doesn't matter unless you let them win.

Nothing is as simple as it seems in the beginning,
As hopeless as it seems in the middle,
Or as finished as it seems in the end.

New Winders, I bet.
But anyway, it's all academic; once Slashdot gets hold of the story, the thing will be reduced to a smoking ruin irrespective of OS/httpd.

New DOS ATTACK!
Slashdot attacks prosco (or scoinfo, or whatever) in an obvious coordinated, terroristic action against that most noble and put-upon corporate hero, SCO...

I can see it now...

[C:\\tcpip\\bin]nslookup www.prosco.net a.ns.prosco.net\nServer: phoenix.ut.sco.com\nAddress: 216.250.130.1\n\n*** phoenix.ut.sco.com can't find www.prosco.net: Non-existent host/domain\n\n[C:\\tcpip\\bin]nslookup prosco.net a.ns.prosco.net\nServer: phoenix.ut.sco.com\nAddress: 216.250.130.1\n\nName: prosco.net

Pamela Jones writes
You might like to know that it is being reported that the url for SCO's new website in competition with Groklaw has been renamed. It is now scoinfo.com, a domain name they registered on October 28. I guess they decided to take my advice. I wrote that prosco.net reeked of bias.

New And visiting scoinfo.com

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
New finally made it up
No reponse from that site when I posted earlier.

New The site is on hold
[link|http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/11/02/sco_site_onhold/|http://www.theregist.../sco_site_onhold/]

Legal concerns of all things have caused The SCO Group to rethink it plans to launch a pro-SCO propaganda web site meant to counter the popular Groklaw site.
