New Further refinements - 32.something.
33 failed. 32 worked, just as I was giving up. 33's been trying for 1:15 as I type this.

Perhaps its the upstream cap/bandwidth timing out the Zope connection (30 is snappy, for instance), but apparently, that's about the max post from Opera on Solaris.

Anybody care to try Opera on Linux/Windows and see what happens?

New Upstream shouldn't make a difference
Upstream is data going out from the box, not in as with posting.

Did I say it did? I wasn't thinking that was really the problem, unless perhaps just that much pushed it into some sort of a timeout.

(But even then, its got to turn around and send it all BACK, right?)

Perhaps its the upstream cap/bandwidth timing out the Zope connection


Now, the upstream is capped, but you shouldn't get timeouts from that. I've never seen it take long at all.
