Post #170,383 by deSitter 8/19/04 11:28:38 PM Reply	Java console Short of stamping on my laptop until it is smoking ruins, how can I get rid of the STUPID JAVA ICON THAT LOOKS LIKE A WHITE BOOGER IN THE WINDOWS SYSTEM TRAY? This stupid icon show up any time an applet gets loaded. Once there, it's there for the duration. Eeegads I HATE Sun software. -drl

You can keep it from appearing by preventing JS and Java apps from running with appropriate browser and/or proxy settings, but yeah, that's a problem. I hate it too. I hope there's some solution.
