New Frustrated disclaimer about Orion
I'm not sure why I'm posting this, except I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea ok?

I know that you all have noticed lately that Orion has been acing rather oddly again, and he's behaving even more oddly on my group and IWT Yahoo. He is the person who is unable to connect here anymore, and I at first believed it was a real technical problem, but now, I confess I'm not sure.

I'm beginning to think now that maybe somehow one of his alter egos has done something to prevent his connecting here, and that in some ways I've been duped, but I swear to everyone here, if that's the case, I didn't know, and I'm still not sure.

He's making wild claims about stuff, and I'm really convinced that he's not ok right now. So if I've been trying to help him fix something that he or one of his persona's sabotaged himself somehow, whether knowingly or not knowingly, I apologize in advance to all here, and appreciated your help.

I'm just not sure what to do now...

New He needs to help himself. Or get help himself.
New I realize that
I just don't know how to respond to some of the stuff he's posting on PA, (my group) and if I don't counter some of it, he could freak people out over there.

Sigh.... and I'm trying not to resort to putting him back on moderation... It's like walking on thin ice trying to balance it all.

Thanks Scott.

New Re: Wish I was.
It's large of you to try to assist. I think that, by now you have enough phones-on experience with "aberrant individuals" to appreciate that there are severe limits to what anyone-not-They can accomplish - which actually *helps*. (We are all in this boat re "someone who Isn't moi".) Hope you can avert taking-on all that personal angst, admirable as such an attitude appears, on the face of it.

(My own view is 'an aberrant one' too) - I imagine that the odds of his seeking (and Finding!) an actually effective form of 'therapy' are vanishingly small. First-off, given the state of 'medical care' in US - This Co$ts Lots (even when it's ineffective or even if the 'method' is just plain idiotic, but Popular).

I don't think you can achieve much via the standard-ez-cheap HMO-means, now almost universally enforced: adding some new witch's brew of More pharm-chem into a nervous system and immune system likely functioning quite poorly over many years. The standard US diet is oblivious to the needs of a truly healthy digestive system --> which also affects the immune system in myriad ways we barely understand at all.

If you add-in possibly regular OTC other chemicals to a bunch of 'personal issues': where would a Good Samaritan begin?

There are ways to detoxify, even after a pattern of rilly Bad eating and other habits; to my knowledge and experience, every one of these approaches demands (at least) 3 qualifications:

An awareness as large as a 'conviction' - that one needs to alter long-standing eating and other habits, to live.

A sincere willingness to bite that bullet of 'change', and to stay with the method over many months, at the very least. 'Weeks' aren't enough.

'Conditions' - at home, work? [and in the mind] as will at least not-sabotage the efforts. Conditions also involve $$ as always - really Good food is also not cheap - supply/demand. (That doesn't mean it isn't tasty - quite the opposite).

I've seen the effects of such changes in regimen and while "I don't do regimens" [Hah] I'm experimenting with one which I've recently seen save someone's life, literally. (Which I deemed a sufficient reason to verify some things for myself - call it Science.)

For the unwilling, as-in combative, disturbed or merely doggedly stubborn person -?- Save Your Breath. As Fritz Perls liked to say, "You are not here to meet my expectations and I am not here to meet yours". (That's not all he said, but it does tend to Get One's Attention)

Luck, Owlet - you are quite less infuriating than early-on, and you've said some actually wise things IMO; guess we won't have to stuff you / mount on teak perch, etc.

er, :-\ufffd

Thanks Ashton, I wasn't sure whether to post that, but I didn't want anyone to think I was behind any of it. I realize there is only so much I can do, but I worry because he has a child, and well, if I can do anything to help I try.

Hehehe, well I've tried hard to be less infuriating, honest. I've tried to take in all the input here and adjust my posting levels and posting content accordingly, although I still tend to talk about myself in third person sometimes, (Sorry, Ross), I don't mean to, it just slips out because it's a fun habit I share with John.

I think I have quite enough "stuffed" owls anyway. ;)

New I've had enough help
from people who are not qualified to give help. If you all really care about me, you'd quit picking on me and let me handle this myself and with my doctor. I had to double my medicine recently to get into a better state. The more you push and shove and pick on me and bring up past behaviors, the more likely my suicidal thoughts will return, and I cannot afford that. So I am asking nicely to please lay off.

New Until there is a firm delineating line between "normal" and
"mad" Orion, it will be impossible to tell when you are starting to slip over the line, and thus to stop responding to you. So, you leave us two options - stop responding to you entirely, or to ignore your advice.

As far as giving away your secret, it's pretty much out in the open already - your own actions have shown the truth much better than any single post any of us have ever put down.
What will we do when we are Gods?
New Why then, oh why,
do hardly none of you take those two options and instead degrade me, call me an idiot, etc?

Seriously? Did I?
What will we do when we are Gods?
New In a manner of speaking
I often get my intelligence questioned here by many people, so many that it is hard to keep score, or tell people apart. Just another part of my illness, I guess?

Yet you never defended me when others called me an idiot, and you don't really seem to be following your own advice to ignore me or avoid my advice. Thus in a way you are calling me an idiot, thinking that I'll believe you that you'll ignore me, when clearly you are not.

New For your information I am miserable
I almost checked into a hospital, I've been throwing up a lot, have a 101.5 fever, and I am really sick.

I don't enjoy this, I understand that I am sick in the head, and I am doing what I can to get better. I am doing what I can to regain control, and I am very hurt that my condition was posted here, against my will, and in violation of my confidence, no matter what the reasoning behind it, it was wrong, and it made me sicker as a result.

[link|http://www.xormad.com:4096/district268|I am from District 268].
New I didn't post your condtion whatsoever
All I said was you were acting oddly, which everyone already knew, just from your posts. I said nothing about you being sick, having a fever, or anything else.

You asked me to see if there was a problem with your connection, regarding the board, I did that, and then I clarified that it was quite possibly something one of your alter-egos did, that's all I said.

I hope you get better, and see your doctor. I'm genuinely worried about you.

Nightowl >8#

Edit: Not to mention, if you couldn't get in here to read it, it couldn't have been what made you sicker. You told me you were sick late last night/early this am. And for your information, you aren't the only one who gets sick from stress. My chest has hurt all day from probably worrying about you, and I spent the whole day trying to help you. Sorry if that upsets you.

Edit: corrected spelling

New You posted my behavior
which gave them clues about my condition. I suppose you thought you were helping? Oh well, it already happened.

Sorry about your stress, please don't worry about me so much, I am doing what I can to get better, but as I said before, I simply cannot snap out of it, and it is going to take time. There may also be times that I get worse. If you cannot handle it, and it makes you sick, I strongly suggest you stop talking to me about it then. I'd rather have that, then have you get so sick you end up in a hospital from worrying about me. That is because I care about you also.

New And you posted the entire thing in PA and it's public.
When you post all the details about something in public, Norman, it's no longer public. Anyone else could have read it and posted all the details here, from there.

And I didn't give them clues, they already knew.

Sorry if you got upset. I won't worry myself into a hospital, I manage to stop from going that far, but I do worry about you and your condition, especially when you're alone with your son, taking care of him, and especially when you are posting about it in my group.

Sorry, I can't help that, it's my nature. I tried to post rational arguments in IWT Yahoo, to explain that no one was stalking you, and you were the one who told them all about the places in question. I try to ground you back in reality, that's all I try to do.

Nightowl >8#

Edit: Let's talk more about this in IWT Yahoo, okay? We don't need to do it here.

New Funny
you want to discuss it in Yahoo, after you've already posted about it here. I wouldn't be upset if they read it in PA or Yahoo IWT, but the fact was you posted my behavior here. Just like before when I've told you things over the phone, and our mutal friends find out what I've said to you in private. You just can't help phoning my relatives or doctor either. I have to consider your past and present behavior too, and I worry about you as well.

New One last time, Norman
I've explained over and over, when you take it into my group, then I'm going to act. If you threaten suicide in my group, yes I'll call someone. If you make accusations in my group, yes I'll go wherever I have to to dispute them if I don't believe them. And if you make wild and crazy paranoid posts in my group, I will deal with those.

When you post it here or in your group, I do not feel as responsible, but when you come in mine and do it, I do.

You also need to bear in mind that YOU posted in your Yahoo IWT group asking about maybe having been banned. Who were you posting to, if not me, since I'm the one who mostly corresponds with you there. You asked for help with your connection problem, and I came here to get it.

Then when I had exhausted all options with John and technically, we had to consider that maybe you had done something unknowingly, yourself, and I had to make it clear to IWT that I was not aware that could have been the case at first. I did NOT post details of your condition here, my post mainly covered the possibility that one of your alter-egos had managed to surface and sabotage you. I didn't want to look like a fool if we had come to the conclusion that I was asking IWT to help solve a problem that you yourself had created, and that's the last thing I'm saying on it in here. You know where to find me in IWT Yahoo.
