No telling how fast it really happened - perhaps as soon as it was on the network. The Windows RPC exploit, which every machine with XP had some time back, and every Windows 2000 machine unpatched since 8/2002, is the only thing I ever remember that was GUARANTEED to compromise your machine. -drl
