I'm going to go out on a limb and say if anybody can do the Fallout series justice, Bethesda can.

Fallout was known for:
Open-ended gameplay
Lots of bugs
Huge worlds
Multiple solutions to game problems

Bethesda is home to the "Elder Scrolls" series, which is known for:
Open-ended gameplay
Lots of bugs
Huge worlds
Multiple solutions to game problems

Good fit? Methinks so. Now, about that Linux version...
