I get back and work, but on probation. 38 Days later, due to an accident on the roads, I am 5 minutes late, thus breaking probation. "See we gave him a chance, but he screwed it up." The probation papers read that management can terminate my employment for any number of reasons. If I am let go after coming back from an illness, I can sue. But if I am put on probation and then let go for something else, I cannot sue. I'm making my own luck and looking for work elsewhere just in case they decide to let me go later and blame it on something else. *Picking up the pieces of my broken life.*
