Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Oh, you can use the "W" word.
Just remember that by extension, you also probably refer to women as "cunts", Italians as "wops", Jews as "Kikes", and blacks as "niggers".

In other words, take your racial prejudice and fuck yourself with it.

New Re: Oh, you can use the "W" word.
This is utter bullshit. Anyone can tell that G is no racist - he might be the sanest person here. This stupid "let's all correct each other" is the mild form of what will one day turn into "let's all denouce each other to the local totalitarian regime".

Why do you do this? Are you proud of yourself for treating everyone as stupid abstractions? He obviously has a great deal of sympathy for the culture of the subcontinent - who the fuck cares how he says it?

Racism is action, not words. It's YOU touchy-feely PC mongers who are the actual racists.

New Words ARE actions.
The one begets the other.

Of course, you're the kind of person who thinks women are best off in the home, doing what they do best - breeding, and brown people should just crawl back into the vats whence they came. It's only natural that you would start banging the PC drum, because to you, "PC" is simply an imposition; after all, why should you give a shit about what language you use, just because it might be offensive to someone else?

It's not my fault that an in-bred redneck hick such as yourself (hey, no offense, right?) can't grasp the fact that certain words and phrases when used in certain contexts are, in fact, loaded and astonishingly offensive.

There's a reason it's called "Paki-bashing", for example.

In short, being "Anti-PC" is, most of the time, a veiled admission that you can't be arsed thinking before spewing.

So I'm PC.

Bite me.

I'm not going to apologise for considering my fellow humans as just that. I know it's a bit of a stretch for you.

New Words are actions. One begets another.
Peter is his father. His father begot him.

Here is a news for you. If nobody ends up offended, offfensive words are not offensive. Whatever word Andrew was going to use would have been followed by the post expressing utmost respect to the culture the word was used for. Only a latent racist like you would presume that Indians are not as smart as you are and will not read the post to the end.

New Actually, I wouldn't wish to . . .
. . use a term that is genuinely offensive. My original use of the acronym for "worthy oriental gentleman" was based on it being just a quaint relic of the British Empire over here, to those few who would actually recognize the term at all.

Since Peter says it's still truly offensive over there, and since the Web kinda ignores borders and oceans, I will not use it - except to stir up Peter's hornet's nest a little.

New Yeah, but . . . .
. . . I like to yank Peter's chain - so much din and clatter for so little effort.
