Rock songs that's dancified & P-Diddy messing with Police
Very, very, very few rock songs sound good all danced up. UGH! It makes my stomach turn hearing some of my favourite songs butchered like that.
And then there's Puffy messing around songs from The Police. I don't care if he had permission from Sting. It was just wrong to do. *BITCH SLAP*
Now, dancey-ish and '80s songs done rock style can work. We've got a local band here called Monteforte with Moe Berg of Pursuit of Happiness fame at lead guitar that does '80s covers rock style. Great fun.
One odd cover that works for me is Reel Big Fish's version of Duran Duran's "Hungry like the Wolf."
