The owner of the Lightning is also the owner of the Pistons. If he ends up with both this year, he is one lucky dog. Hrm.... Dancing in the Streets of Tampa Bay.

There's not much sense trying to talk to a sore loser, but if you're going to get caught up in the fever swamps of conspiracy theory, remember: 1. If the league hates them, how did the Flames get to the finals? (Getting past two US teams in the process). 2. If the league is really about money, then how come two small market teams made it to the finals? After all, a New York/Chicago series would have much higher ratings (and lead to more TV money). On another note, why does the NHL want to self-destruct? If, as expected, there is a long labor war, it's really going to hurt the NHL. Tony

I thought baseball was bad but that's got nothing on curling!
