Ah, now I see why I was confused.
I never thought of "my" religion as coming OUT of the Middle East. Yes, Jesus lived there and died there and all that, but I thought that modern day Christiantity began in England, with the Church of England, and then the pilgrims fled over here to have their own version of it.
That's where I viewed my religion as having it's roots, hence the confusion.

You really are confused
modern day Christianity did not begin in England by any stretch of the imagination. It is not just that Jesus lived and died there, Christianity is based on Judaism, in fact Jesus was Jewish.

Modern-day Christianity as practiced in the USA came out of the UK.
(Note to Americans: Stop talking about "England" when you mean "The UK". It's REALLY annoying and makes you look even more quaintly parochial than usual.)

Because the King of England got into a fight ...

England is a single country, while the UK consists of England, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. (Does Wales count as a separate country?)
