Anyone point to a good howto for postgres installation?

Post #153,344 by drewk 5/1/04 8:29:33 PM Reply	Anyone point to a good howto for postgres installation? For the local machine, it seems to do permissions based on who you're logged in as. If I 'sudo su postgres' I can use psql and everything works, so it's installed right. But I can't get phpPgAdmin to work as any user, including postgres. Can't get anything else to connect to it either. Only way I can connect is as user postgres through psql. === Implicitly condoning stupidity since 2001.
