It is not corrupt, it is realistic
Israel is a small country with enough problems in the international arena without adding nuclear weapons to it. The ambiguity is forced on Israel by the world.
What is corrupt and hypocritical is for the existing nuclear powers, especially the US to say that no one else can develop nuclear weapons, but we will continue to keep our nuclear weapons and even develop new ones. Why does a country like Britain need nuclear weapons today? Who is threatening them? What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If the US can develop nuclear weapons then Israel and any other country should be allowed as well.
