as Lindows grows. About $50-$60 for the base Lindows. It contains Non-GPL code that works with various MSWindows application files, but does not run Windows code itself. It also contains Non-GPL code to easily configure and install Lindows, very much like Windows installs. All you need is one CD with Lindows 4.5 on it, and you can get running in less than 45 minutes on a 800Mhz or faster machine with 128M of RAM. The CNR Warehouse (Click aNd Run) works like Windows Update, but also can purchase pay Linux software like StarOffice, etc. Or download OpenOffice.Org for you. It makes Up2Date look like junk. Apt-Get still works as Lindows is based on Debian. So the open sourced software can be downloaded using the "apt-get" command. "apt-get Install WINE" worked great, for example.

Oh they can always rename it to Linhorn if they cannot use Lindows any more. ;)
