. . at Burbank Chamber of Commerce mixers. They hosted one there last month. The pig ribs were very good, the steak good and the chicken so-so. Unfortunately that's all they served, so I craved a big salad by time I got home (made one and ate it).
At the mixer I talked to a person who actually eats there now and then. She said they did pretty well when she just dropped in for something to eat, but screwed up pretty bad every time she's been there for something more formal.
At the first mixer they held I complained to one of the staff I'd really expected food that was more authentically Australian, such as kangaroo in vegemite or pit roasted wombat - but all I got for my trouble was a blank stare and asked if I wanted another beer.
