Although the 'x' key is close enough to the 'f' key on my keyboard, I'd make it ../testforums to avoid the remote possibility of a typo. ;) Then label the heck out of it. I usually drop in a "watermark" background image that says "BETA" or "TEST" in big letters. When you're ready for production, it's a single edit to a CSS file.
