New What's this instrument?
Saw Sting playing one the other night. Looks like a mandolin, has strings on the neck, etc., but there is a crank on the base that one hand turns while the other holds the neck.

Any ideas?

I don't remember if any Dulcimers have cranks, but it's possible.
