New Re: How often do people upgrade their PDAs and mobile phones
Well, I just got a Palm Tungsten T3 to replace the Palm III (not IIIe, not IIIx, not IIIxe, and not the IIIc, just the original III). And, I also got a Sony Ericsson T616 to replace my 10 months old T200 (which I got for CDN$50.00 - the T200 not the T616).

The combination of BlueTooth and GPRS was just too much for me to resist, so I went for it. I am mindful that this combination is way over powered for my needs but what-the-hey, it's not like I'm upgrading every year.
New That's an interesting step.
I'm remembering that going from the Newton to the Visor did not feel like a step up, although it wasn't really a step-down. I'm also very mindful that the Newton plus a mobile was a lot of the time one device too many. Come to think of it, the Visor plus a mobile was, too. Except the Newton was a far better electronic notepad. :-/

The trouble with buying a new mobile is that the good looking ones are the high-end ones. And the trouble with that is that they have things I don't need. Like GPRS Internet.

Wade.

Is it enough to love
Is it enough to breathe
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed

Is it enough to die
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be Anything but Ordinary
Please
