New Help with the general concept of Object API's
Have to explain how corba objects and API communication is different from stream oriented apps like ftp to non technical folks. A corba api is passed from a client to a server and the async acknowledgement only indicates that the request was received and does not indicate whether the object actually reached the application layer. The folks dont seem to understand, is there any diagrams out there?

thanx,
bill

New If its oneway messages you're talking about
it amounts to tossing a message onto an async queue. Otherwise its a sychronous call, like an RPC with hidden arguments.

Don't know about diagrams though.
