Roddenberry wrote them so he'd get half the royalty payments instead of having to pay the composer 100% of the royalty. I read about it in one of my Star Trek books - don't recall which one. I've forgotten how many things work and have been trying to get my mind back together. Just entering Star trek Lyrics can come up with many things, and I don't have the patience to weed through all of them until I find the right one. I get very fustrated really easily now and tend to give up after a few tries. I hope to get better someday. What used to be easy to me, now appears to be almost impossible to do. *Picking up the pieces of my broken life.*
