According to a report in todays Wall Street Journal, Yemen has suffered 10 times as much as America from the USS Cole attacks. The port is almost empty since then due to the high cost of insurance.

When the West and others cut off economic relations in these fairly poor countries, the results are ugly. These terrorists are not economist's and seem clueless as to the results their evil deeds cause.

I feel sorry that they are so ignorant (I'm not suggesting they are stupid), but the fruits of their labor are easy to see. If they like poverty, by all means, they should keep causing problems for their countries reputations.

Now that the U.S. will reduce our dependancy on oil, their suffering is likely to worsen.

Solar power and wind power are starting to look like a much safer and cleaner solution to our energy problems. The middle east might want to find another source of income pretty soon.

P.S. Did you hear the Taliban spokesman that said the suicide murderers who attacked the U.S. did a good deed? Where in the Koran did he get that justification from?!
