CBS said the miniseries doesn't present a "balanced portrayal." But that's not the same thing as saying the miniseries is portraying the Reagans inaccurately. CBS specifically notes that the producers have sources to "verify each scene in the script." In saying this, CBS makes it clear that accuracy as assessed from a journalistic perspective is not the issue.
