New Flexibility....
One thing the author did not reference is the fact that
the same filesystem is also fully accessible via the
POSIX layer. Also, the integrated file system provides
additional accessibility to the filesystem for NetWare,
Linux/Unix, and Windows users.

I'm rather skeptical that Redmond could implement anything
even close to what is available on the iSeries. True, the
iSeries can be a spendy solution, but it is one of the best
architectural designs out there.
