Well...
I think any unemployed IWETHEYers with job skills remotely resembling the ones you possibly want (Java, some scripting experience, C++...) are probably deciding whether they are willing to live in Detroit, and if they are, are sending you your resume...
;-)
Cheers, Ben

The thought did go through my mind...
...but Detroit! :-)
[edit note: then again i'm not unemployed, which would make the motor city a bit more attractive. just on the constant underemployment side].

It isn't Detroit.
Detroit is 17 miles south of here. I look out the window and see trees. :-)
We're in Rochester Hills, just north of [link|http://www.ci.rochester.mi.us/|Rochester]... Rochester is a little town of about 7,000 people; Rochester Hills is 32 sq/mi with 60K people. We're surrounded by parks, farms, cider mills, and housing developments.

Unfortunately...
I haven't gotten *any* responses, which is why I asked about the job boards. :-P

Urgh...Detroit.
Thinking of using Struts on that project Scott?
(Alas, I have no experience with ASP - so I'm out of the running.)

It *isn't* Detroit! :-P
Gahhhhh. :-D
ASP experience not required, and yes, we're looking at Struts pretty seriously. One of our major clients uses it, which makes selling it internally there much easier.

I rarely need a coat...
But then, I feel 30 Degrees is shorts and short sleeve weather.
Even when I was in the Marine Corps (nevermind the Company Gunny felt that way too)

That's what clothes are for.
There is usually a week or so of 0F degree weather. Most of January/February is 20-32F. , and I very rarely have to shovel the driveway. The bonus comes in Spring and Fall when we have beautiful 60F weather for months at a time. Last week it was in the high 70s to 80s. This summer the temp was 70-85F, with one week of 90F weather.
Imagine that... real weather, as opposed to mind-numbing sameness. ;-)

SoCal messes with your head
I think it gets *warmer* in November. Love those Santas on Rodeo Drive.
