Nice of Peter (Guildenstern) to host these last posts - the last few with (1998-scary) inferences re M$ e-mail reading. I remember those exchanges.

My hope is that Ed's name gets mentioned frequently in context of the inevitable battles emerging as Ashcroft + M$ aim - in partnership - for world lock-in: he blew that whistle at the First overt Official lie about "security"; surely that makes Ed a decent Symbol, in '03 as well.

Not sure why but even the "Microsoft Poses Security Risk" article is missing too. I guess it got moved for some reason? I tried clicking if off their front page and the link didn't work.

But then News.com.com or News.com is owned by CNET whose owner owns a lot of shares in Microsoft and has a history with Microsoft.
