From a corporate career to flipping burgers is not such a stretch these days, a survey by an hourly job-search firm found.

Nearly a third of former full-time workers ages 25-40 who are searching for jobs said they began investigating hourly work less than a month after losing their career-oriented jobs, a survey by SnagAJob.com of Richmond, Va., said.
