Possibly ee's a bit like 12-tone scale for those in love with the Well-tempered one. Acquired taste, but more compact? than er (assembly language).

We *can* escape the tyranny of parsing, but no fool can very well emulate ee.. in the attempt (!) Maybe he comes closer to life in its endless nested associations -- decidedly unhierarchical.
