Q. How much has it cost the US in direct financial aid to make sure there is an Israel?
A. about 5 Billion/year.
Of course, the most recent study says that since 1973 it's cost the US a little over 1.3 Trillion (yes, that's a "T") in total. Not a bad draw for a country of 6.5 million.
