Don't you have to first be elected to be re-elected?
bcnu, Mikem
The soul and substance of what customarily ranks as patriotism is moral cowardice and always has been...We have thrown away the most valuable asset we had-- the individual's right to oppose both flag and country when he (just he, by himself) believed them to be in the wrong. We have thrown it away; and with it all that was really respectable about that grotesque and laughable word, Patriotism.

Nope, Kennedy stole the election from Nixon
fair and square, the electorals were rigged in both chicago and texas by the dems. Nixon was told by the party not to fight it. It was as close as bore gush. thanx, bill

An instructive comparison/contrast.
Richard Nixon... Richard Nixon! lost with more grace than the Gorebots.
Think about that, sore losers. You're actually showing less class and civic spirit than Tricky Dick did in comparable circumstances. You're actually making that bastard look good by comparison.
By the way, a little uncertainty or even fraud here and there is statistically inevitable, and ususally statistically insignificant. 1960 and 2000 were both ties, as I see them. Nobody stole either election. The only difference is how the losing side responded. And oh, what a difference.

More grace?
Wasn't that when he said "you guys won't have Richard Nixon to kick around anymore!!!"?

But wait -- the irony of it all!
Did I miss something? AFAIK (I'm not old enough to remember :)), 1960 was when Nixon said "you won't have Nixon to kick around any more"...

Thanks!
And thanks for the info. I didn't even know Nixon had run for gov in California in 62!
Freddie Widgeon had nothing on California...
'Do you know,' said a thoughtful Bean,'I'll bet that if all the girls Freddie has loved and lost were placed end to end--not that I suppose one could do it--they would reach half-way down Piccadilly.' 'Further than that,' said the Egg. 'Some of them were pretty tall.'

Yes. And that would be a step up for the Gorebots...
if they were to say the same of Gore, and then leave it at that.

Grace.. a word you've only ever heard about -
and could not possibly simulate.
You would compare the "speed of discovery of deception" in '03 to the sleepy Eisenhower era !? (another time about which all your info is filtered through My Gramma's ancient cant + your own wet dreams of PNAC-vistas to conquer)
And you want.. these 'Bad Losers' (of all those 2M jobs and so infinitely much Else, since your neoconmen thugs stopped the vote count in FL, and the USSC reversed all their previously 'held' 'principles' - in perhaps the most convuluted explanatory 'rationale' ever to come from there).
To simply "accept the robbery" with Grace. (any more than Nixon should have.. had he the chance of obtaining proof: Goose/Gander) Screw your 'statistical beneficence', as only a CPA might love / or an Eloi.)
That's All you want, bunky ??
Hey, best hop that C5A and get Your mitts right on that Tar Baby; Mano-a-Mano, Big Guy: let's see how your rhetoric flies in a crowd of benficiaries of your Nintendo-Eloi strategy.
