All 5,500 belonged to one guy (John Zacharini). Most had names that were misspellings of some popular site (41 variations of Britney Spears). They were all set up to trap any visitor (back button triggered more pop-ups) and were nothing but masses of pop-up ads for porno and gambling sites.
