Perl certification?
Apparently, a move is on to certify Perl programmers. The agenda of
this week's O'Reilly Open Source Convention (aka The Perl Conference)
included both a panel discussion on the topic and BOF session, and
the participants have set up a Wiki to discuss the topic.
If you're a Perl programmer and you think it's a good idea, get
involved and help out. If you're a Perl programmer and you think it's
a bad idea, get involved and try to stop them. Either way, it seems
that certification is a topic that just won't go away.
