New Just heard on the radio this morning
that the number of people who are unemployed and have filed for unemployment benefits are at A 20 YEAR HIGH.

When will somebody in this country get the hint???

New Interesting stat I'd like to see
Total number of people empolyed worldwide. Excluding subsistence farming, of course. If we're (meaning in the U.S.) facing higher unemployment because the jobs are moving offshore, then *someone* is getting the jobs. I'd like to see a trend line to show how closely reality tracks my theory that we just don't need everyone to work any more.
