"He said that if the current operatives working for the CIA couldn't prove the story was true, then the agency had better find some who could," Wilkinson said. "He said he knew the story was true and so would the world after American troops secured the country."


If this holds up, this is the smoking gun that is needed to start talking about impeachment. This is clear evidence that Bush presented information he knew was false or at least questionable to the American public to justify the war.

You might have that smoking gun if he had said "I know it's not true but I'm gonna use it anyway" but it seems pretty clear from the story that Bush did not believe the CIA on this and believed the Nigerian story was true.
