Welcome to IWETHEY!

New That is where I "saw" it...
I wondered, I knew I had seen it elsewhere, but never paid really much matter.

Maybe something will come along... maybe a HIG-ified version of that will make it back...

Maybe someone we know could help that out... !

Maybe, that someone will finally LEARN programming... (ha! that's wishful thinking)

THEY ARE WATCHING YOU.
The time has come for you to take the last step.
You must love THEM.
It is not enough to obey THEM.
You must love THEM.

PEACE BEGETS WAR, SLAVERY IS FREEDOM, STRENGTH IN IGNORANCE.
New It doesn't matter if you help or not.
The Gnome maintainers (read: those with CVS access) don't want to hear about it. The HCI "experts" have spoken, and lo! Their word is gospel!

New Maybe... Just maybe
Someone we both know should get off his deadass and fork a patch project off...

Because that is what *HE* wants, maybe it could become something bugger iffn, they DO accept it.

He'd rahter have the ability to make it "MORE *is* MORE"... that'd take care of the newbies with the "Less in more" doctrine, as well as take the automagic out of it... for those that WANT to make it that way...

One more thing... how about a theme package translator/tweaker that puts all the stuff needed for every "Common" window manager (Sawfish, MetaCity, Xfce, BB, etc...) all the def's and so on. Al it would really take is to create a control file basically for every window manager... take the most "complete description" (typically the most feature rich WindowManager) and parse it to make the theme config files for the other Window Managers... Life would be SOOO... much easier. Of course, the GTK-Engines and soo on would be tough but most of the other Themes don;t need that stuf anyway.

Thoughts.
