Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Greg, just came across this ... my deepest sympathies

What an unfortuate situation. Its hard enough just losing them from old age.

Hope the pain of the loss has subsided.

Doug
New I thank you and everyone else.
For your concern and sympathy.

I have healed over it, the family is breaking up. Brother and sisters are not speaking to each other. My Step-Grandfather is starting to recover. They are not going to charge him with man involuntary slaughter.

My cousins have come around to my thinking that our parents are Stupid crazy. Ehh. No more Mother's day get togethers, no more Thanksgivings, no more Christmas get togethers either.

No biggy, I mostly skipped them anyway past two years as I always got the evil eye from everyone. And I was certainly un-invited to Christmas last year.

Screw-em. I am just going to ignore them.

THEY ARE WATCHING YOU.
The time has come for you to take the last step.
You must love THEM.
It is not enough to obey THEM.
You must love THEM.

PEACE BEGETS WAR, SLAVERY IS FREEDOM, STRENGTH IN IGNORANCE.
New FWIW
When I cut-off my (half-) brother's side of ""family"" - and never looked back: I have never regretted the decision. I just 'lost' a nephew from that crew, initially one of the more promising (read: 'occasional original thought') of a brood of 7, from a pair who might have fed, clothed and *educated* perhaps 2 or 3. (All blamed on literal Catholicism re birth control. Yada. & Yada.)

Alas, he regressed at (that last event - death of an Uncle, later Aunt) into grasping mode. Talked to him a couple times in recent years; he'd discovered tsliot and a few; still had left a few kids scattered about along the way; abused the females in life by taking them for granted, expecting adoration. We reviewed how things had gone and he said some nice things. I too. WTF.

Life too short, not to *choose* where one's febrile attention is to go, in any next. Especially with all the New noise - our only Growth Product.

Luck in your decision, too. (Nobody elses's situation is ever really 'comparable', we see)
